The hotel is situated in a beautiful historical property near Trajan's Arc in the city of Merida. Its location makes it easy to walk around the historical center of the city, while also close to some of Merida's best restaurants and nightspots. Rooms are ample and comfortable. The hotel has one of the most sophisticated restaurants in town, mixing old style Extremaduran and Spanish cuisine with cosmopolitan flavors. The place is a great showcase of regional hospitality and charm. The staff is attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Hotel parking, while somewhat expensive, is quite ample and accesible. A very attractive and unique hotel that blends history with modern comforts.

This converted convent had lovely high and wide rooms and corridors. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, if in need of a little TLC. Our room was standard, but we thought that it was good value for money. Breakfast was excellent, but bar and dinner prices were high in proportion to the quantity and quality. Most staff were helpful, but I was glad that I speak some Spanish, as many spoke only a little English. There were plenty of places to relax. It was very central, but there wasn't any information about the town.

A nice welcome from the Lovely friendly helpful people who work there. Communication before we arrived was perfect. The room was usual Parador old fashioned standard. Clean and beds very comfortable for us. We had a little balcony too which was a bonus. Seating area round the bar is lovely and traditional. Didn’t eat there as wanted to explore Mérida and eat tapas on the way. Parking an advantage but expensive at 22 euros per night. Haven’t paid for parking at other Paradores? Many thanks for a pleasant stay.

The location was perfect. The room was a good size. The bed was super comfy. We bought an inclusive ticket to see lots of sights of interest, and it did not disappoint. We loved our stay apart from the hotel did not say breakfast was included and it would be extra €20 /night each. The parking garage is expensive to park a motor bike for an extra €24/night. We have never had to pay to park a motor bike in spain before.

Rachel

The Parador is set in a fantastic old building which is just loverly, there is a pool and plenty of outdoor seating space considering its location is set in a built up area. Food was good as we ate dinner here and breakfast is the same as other Paradors which again is good and plentiful. Room was not as large as other paradors but what I would consider as quirky but was nothing wrong with this, it ads to the charm.
